Based on Bill Augello's text explaining the current laws governing transportation. Learn how to solve problems that continue to plague shippers, carriers and intermediaries in a "deregulated" environment including carriers' limits of liability for cargo loss and damage, cargo insurance, contracts & bills of lading, intermediaries & brokers, seals & security, freight charges & billing disputes, international & intermodal shipments and how to use international treaties, federal laws & regulations and court decisions in your day-to-day business.
Registrants will be credited for 8 hours of credit for each day of attendance by the Certified Claims Professional Accreditation Council (CCPAC). State Continuing Legal Education (CLE) applications will be filed for 6.5 credits on request.
The fee for "Transportation, Logistics and the Law" Seminar is: Single Registrant - $500.00 (includes a text, copy of PowerPoint presentation for note-taking, Second Edition of TL&L, (unless previously purchased) and certificate of attendance. All Registrants Must Have a Text. Fee for registrants having previously purchased a copy of the Second Edition - $350.00. Multiple Registrants from the same corporation - deduct $50 each after the first full registration. Registration fees include continental breakfast, lunch, refreshment and refreshment breaks.
There will be a $25 late charge for registrations received less than 5 working days prior to scheduled seminar. If registration is received less than 5 days before seminar date, furnish overnight express account number to assure text arrival at seminar.
