Why Should You Attend these Seminars?

Twenty years of deregulations, downsizing and outsourcing the transportation and logistical functions have created a shortage of professionals schooled in the legal and regulatory issues that govern these fields.  This lack of training and expertise adds unnecessary risk and expense in the movement and distribution of goods.

To help fill this need for specialized education, the Transportation Consumer Protection Council, Inc.  is presenting three intensive, full-day seminars, by three experts in their fields, with texts that will serve as desk references for your daily problems.  You can:

  • Register one person for all three sequential seminars.  He or she will start with the basics of freight claims and the current law of carrier liability, including an explanation of new and proposed security regulations, then learn how to protect your company's interest by drafting and negotiating contracts and agreements.  They will then round out this knowledge with a review of the current domestic laws and international treaties that govern all four modes of transportation, plus multimodal and cross-border as well.

  • Or register one, two or more staff members for individual seminars as needed.
